Skipper Luke Berry is coming off five successful years in Class40, with twelve podiums, six victories and two completions in La Route du Rhum. Buoyed by these good results, this talented sailor from Saint Malo is stepping up a gear this year by joining the Ocean Fifty circuit, the 50-foot trimarans. Luke will compete in the Pro Sailing Tour, Trophée des Multicoques, Rolex Fastnet Race, Transat Jacques Vabre in what will be a packed programme for him.

From Class 40 to new challenges in Ocean Fifty

"I wanted to evolve and progress. After five years in Class40, I felt that it was the right time to change support to restart a cycle. By entering Ocean Fifty, I'm moving to a bigger and faster class, which means I'll have to manage a bigger team and expand my pool of partners. The class is very suitable from a sporting point of view and also in terms of project management and visibility.”

Marketing Director at Dubarry, Michael Walsh commented that “we are very happy to support Luke with this challenge and wish him the best of luck and safe sailing in the forthcoming season”.
